Long Time No See

Well, it sure has been awhile since I've blogged. Too long, I guess, but who knows. Science Fair has been going great, but I deleted the blog (due to the fact that I didn't want to keep it up to date).
I've joined Key and CARE (Children Are Reason Enough) Clubs. In fact, there's a car wash today at 9:30am over on Boca, so I guess I should get ready for that. But it's all cool. I'm wondering if I should bring my camera with me...it'd be fun to have it, but I'd seem like a freak to bring a camera to a car wash!

I Want a Guinea Pig

Today, my mom and I went to Kohls to get some new school shirts (I've been forced to wear the same ones each and every week). After we left there, we went to Pets Mart, which is right across the street. We went there to get some flea brush for Felix, which he loves (just so you know). But, while we were there, I saw this guinea pig that I really want to have. Of course, my mom said no, but that doesn't mean I've forgotten it. I really want it!

Haven't Blogged In Awhile

Well, I've been sick these past few days, and haven't been able to add to my blog. I had the flu yesterday and stayed home from school, which stunk. But, I'm all better now and can happily be online. That is, I have a math quiz tomorrow, which stinks, but...yeah.

Early to Bed Tonight

I am like really tired from my all nighter last night, and all I want to do right now is sleep. It doesn't help that I ate Taco Bell and Dairy Queen today, and have to run a mile in gym tomorrow...ew. So, ugh, bye.

All Nighter with Brittany

Well, as you can see the time of this post, it's 3:40am (or atleast when I typed this part), and I'm having an allnighter with Brittany. Actually, Brittany just left to shower or something, I'm not sure. But, it's been fun, and it doesn't happen very often, so it's fun to have 'em while I can.

Wal-Mart and Chinese Food

Well, I woke up today thinking that my mom, brother, and I were going to Colonial Bank to renew our CD's. Unfortunately, they are CLOSED on the weekends, so that was a bust. Instead, we headed to Wal-Mart for some random reason. I immediately went to the clothing section, but apparently they don't sell t-shirts anymore? So, I bought a Mountain Dew hat, and I was good.
Of course, my brother headed straight for the Electronics section, and looked at the games. I went over to look at my 'new' laptop (which I will get by 2010), but you can't really buy a computer from Wal-Mart. It's not really sane.
Then a few hours later, we got Chinese food. I ate my own weight in that foreign food, and now I feel a little ill. So, I'm sitting in front of my computer blogging when I should be doing homework, but to each his own. Catch ya later!

It's raining outside right now which can only mean one thing: I can't go to the football game tonight! I'm so mad, because I didn't go to the last one, and I can't go to this one now either! It's like I'm not meant to go to these things or something. But, by the end of the year, I will go to a football game, you can take my word on that!

Science Fair Topic in the Bag

I've already gotten my science fair topic down and approved, so all I have left to do is conduct it. Here's the sketch of it: I am going to do it over a two month period - the first month will be if my family of four were to recycle nothing (the recycling will still be recycled, but after I weigh it and see how much waste is output), then the second month will be when my family uses little to know trash. So it will show extreme views of how recycling changes the sizes of landfills and such. I am really excited to do it, being an environmentalist and all, and so is my family. So, I'll keep you all updated on how it goes. Just look for the 'Science Fair' tag in my tag list, click it, and read all about my science fair adventure. I'll also include pictures and stuff, so keep a look-out for those (you will probably find them on PhotoBucket).

Chilling Out on a Thursday Night

Science Fair and an All-Nighter

Well, I finally figured out my science fair idea, but I need to tell my science teacher, Mrs. Mora, about it today. After she said that my music v.s. heart rate idea was used every year, I wanted to do the environmental one more. So, I have to go over that with her today.
And, it was Brittany's birthday yesterday, and we were going to do an all-nighter. Unfortunately, I'm the only one up. She decided to leave a little earlier than planned leaving me all alone. So, here I am and I'll catch up with this later. Keep it real!

Science Fair Spooks

Well, it's the final week to turn in my science fair topic and I haven't got a clue as to what I want to do! I am getting a little scared because I really need to get a topic. Hopefully I'll get one, though, if I just think. Also, English Kaplan was today, and that sucked.

Another Sunday

Well, we went to church today (I only note that because it's been so long since the last time we've gone) and, as by pure timing, it was Communion Sunday. So, we came home from church and then I did some homework (yawn). Chris and I are supposed to go the the animal shelter today and drop off our volunteer forms, but they close at 2:30 (and it's already 1:18). Good news, though, Mom Chris and Dad are all going to Osprey for this college talk or something. Meaning, I get the house to myself. Well, I need to make Chris take me to the shelter!

A Visit to FGCU

Today we went to the Fort Myers Mall thingy (I don't know the name) near the Fort Myers International Airport. My dad hit the Bass Pro Shops store, which is HUGE, my mom went to Belks, and Chris and I went over to Best Buy. First, however, we ate at Carrabba's (and now tomorrow morning Chris and I are going jogging).
Then we swinged over to FGCU, or Florida Gulf Coast University, to check out what the campus looks like and stuff. Don't get me wrong, we've visited it before, but we try to visit it every time we hit that mall. And it is a really nice campus! I plan to go there when I graduate Lemon Bay.
After my first morning jog tomorrow (I'm not going to turn off my alarm like all the other times), Chris and I will swing over to the Charlotte County Suncoast Humane Society to drop off our volunteer applications.

One YouTube Account

This All-Nighter Sucked

Brittany left early, so I was left all alone all night with nothing to do. It really sucks, but she has a car wash tomorrow for ROTC that I plan to convince my brother to go to today (because it's 2:25AM). After all, his car is dirty. To bad you can't wash away ugly though (still talking about his car)! And, I don't know, I guess I'm still going to stay up until 5 or so, so I'm stickin' around!

I mean, I might do something about the environment, because that's what really interests me, but I'm not sure what I should do within it. I am going to spend the entire night tonight trying to think of something, anything that could be a good science fair topic.

Kaplan and Cell Phone Minutes

Today was math Kaplan, and boy do those suck! But, I finished on day one, so it's over early. No, of course, there's still going to be language arts Kaplan, which is going to suck even more, but you can't stop it. Yesterday I bought 1,000 minutes for my go phone so feel free to text me when you get the chance! That's all for now.

Pioneer Day Parade

Well, the Pioneer Day Parade was alright, considering it was my first time watching it and all. It's sad that the Lemon Bay Marching Mantas are so small in numbers this year; it used to be so huge! Also, with elections for our county coming up, the parade was more of one large campaign ad than anything else. One thing about that, though, was you could tell who was for what party (the booing kind of gave it away). But, that was the highlight of my day. After that we went to Wal-Mart and I bought more GoPhone Minutes - woo. It was a nice day, too, as if Gustav wasn't even across the Gulf of Mexico terrorizing Louisiana...those poor people.

Well, the sky just completely opened up and rain poured from above. It was really weird, and there was lots of rain, thunder and lightning, and wind. And we're not even in the path of the storm and we felt it worse than when Fay hit, and we were supposed to really feel that one! It makes you wonder what Louisiana has in store for them, if we had it like we did. But you can only wait and see what's in store, and hope that it's not going to be bad (even though it seems like it will).

Distaster Movie Was Great!

Disaster Movie was hilarious, and they did make fun of almost every movie released in 2008. I would watch it again if I wanted to, that's how good it was! So if you get the chance, go and see it in theaters...you won't regret it!

You've found yourself here at my new blog. I changed my old e-mails from IrishPop94 to Orange Manta, as the same with my blog. So, make sure you change my e-mail in you address book/contact list. It's really simple - OrangeManta@live.com; OrangeManta@aim.com; OrangeManta@yahoo.com. Those are my new three e-mails to go along with this blog.
So, Lemon Bay High School, if you didn't guess, was the inspiration behind this blog. Obviously I have no attachment to manta rays (though I am quite fond of orange). Just check out my MySpace page - I made it all orange and blue (school colors). My AIM Page is also ready for action, so make sure to befriend me on that.
I missed the first football game which I'm bummed about. But, I plan to make the rest of the season for football, maybe for basketball, too.
